A Grove City woman has been charged in a man’s overdose death.
60-year-old Carol Ann Seymour, was indicted for various drug related counts including Involuntary Manslaughter, Corrupting Another with Drugs, and Trafficking in Heroin.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien says on the afternoon of January 10th, 2019, Seymour went to a home where she picked up the victim Robby J. Alsey, 37, and drove him to the west side of town where she had arranged a narcotics purchase for the victim.
Immediately following the transaction, Seymour dropped the victim off back at his residence. Within approximately an hour and a half from when the victim was originally picked up by Seymour, the victim was found dead in the home. Jackson Township Medics were dispatched to the home and pronounced the victim deceased upon their arrival.
