Firing range coming soon to Grove City

Shoot Point Blank, an indoor firing range, will soon make it’s debut in Grove City.

The range is part of a national chain that boasts 22 locations in six states. The Grove City location on Turnberry Court, will be the sixth location in Ohio and the second in the Columbus area. The other Columbus-area location is located at 99 Orange Point Drive, Lewis Center.

Shoot Point Blank Gun Range and Shops is a retail and educational facility that will promote safe informed fire arms ownership. The facility offers concealed weapons training (CCW), firearm rental and sales and an indoor firing range.

The Lewis Center location offers membership starting at $19.99 per month, which includes unlimited range use Monday through Friday. Non-members can also use the ranges starting at $18 per hour. For those who don’t own a gun, both handguns and long guns are available for rent.

According to documents, the proposed building is about 15,000-square-feet and will house a retail area, two educational classrooms and two gun ranges that will accommodate up to 20 active lanes. The store will employ about 35 associates with an annual payroll of $450,000 and sales are expected to be around $4.6 million annually.

The building is being built on Turnberry Court in an undeveloped lot. Turnberry Court is located off of Home Road at the US-62 exit of I-270.
